About us

Here you will find informal updates from the student community within the Centre for Late Antique and Medieval Studies at King’s (CLAMS). We run this blog in our own time, and it’s not maintained by CLAMS. If you’re after official info, about the Centre, courses, and events  see the King’s website. You can find the official CLAMS events schedule here, or follow @CLAMSkcl on twitter.

We study a range of topics, ranging from late antique and Byzantine studies, all the major medieval languages and literatures, visual culture, palaeography and manuscript studies, digital humanities, history, music, philosophy, and theology.

We use this blog to record the various things we get up to either in class or on various public engagement projects, write up notes from conferences, reflect informally on our research, and pose questions to the medieval community beyond King’s… So please do comment on any articles that take your interest and get in touch!
